DARREN GREGSON

Darren was trained in Art and Design and has worked as an assistant photographer, graphic designer and helped run a small art gallery. Over the years he has produced several stunning pieces of M.A.S.K art with his own unique twist!
 
"These drawings were created in 2014 and are an homage to my favourite childhood comic artists such as David Pugh, Ron Smith, Ian Kennedy and Kim Raymond. All of whom worked on the M.A.S.K. UK comic. One of my goals was to prove to myself that I could make them. I achieved my goal and am extremely grateful that I have something to share with the ever growing community many years later."
 
Darren currently works at Paradox Comics-N-Cards in Fargo North Dakota as the Comic Department Manager. In his spare time he continues to doodle, draw and paint.

Favourite Childhood Toy

"M.A.S.K. is without a doubt my favourite toy series. M.A.S.K. not only introduced me to the toys and cartoon, but also sparked my passion for reading and collecting comics via the UK comic. I even remember making my own M.A.S.K. comics and taking them to school. They were terrible. A front cover and three unfinished pages of story, then on to the next issue! I wish I still had them."
