M.A.S.K CARTOON
Mobile Armored Strike Kommand, more commonly known as M.A.S.K, was animated by DIC and first aired on Wednesday the 30th of September 1985. Since then it has remained (or more recently reborn) in the heart and minds of fans reliving their youths. It has gained a cult following amongst vintage toy collectors, nostalgia hunter and 80s cartoon aficionados with a resurgence over the last few years and a noticeable spike in 2020. Some would liken it to a fusion of GJ Joe meets Transformers. I would like to think it is much more than that! Which other syndicated franchise features everyday vehicles transforming into attack weapons, driven by specialist agents wearing masks with unique abilities?
In total 75 episodes were released over 2 seasons. |
